Character / Spiritual Life
Prayer for our school written by the 1st Grade Class: “Dear Lord, we ask our school would be a place of great discovery, adventure, and creativity. Make it be a place where we love to learn and where we learn to love. A place where every person is respected and all are treated with kindness.”
Nurturing Spiritual Growth at Every Age
At Advent School, the spiritual growth of our children is at the heart of everything we do. From our youngest learners in Early Childhood to our students in Elementary and Middle School, we nurture faith through Bible stories, songs, prayers, and daily actions that reflect God’s love.
Children are taught how deeply God loves them and how to share that love with family, friends, and the world around them. They learn respect for God, themselves, and others; the power of prayer in challenges and joys; and the importance of using their unique gifts to bless others.
Weekly chapel is a cornerstone of our community, with services led by pastors, teachers, and students. These gatherings include worship, scripture, prayer, and special celebrations—such as Grandparents Day, Veteran’s Day, and milestone ceremonies like Prekindergarten Graduation and Kindergarten Moving Up. Families are always welcome to join us in worship and experience the joy of growing in faith together.
As students journey through Advent, they are supported by both school and church with resources such as Bible storybooks, music, and prayer guides, helping families continue faith conversations at home. From their very first Bible stories to receiving The Beginners’ Bible at graduation, our children are reminded that they are loved, capable, and called to share God’s grace with others.

Why We Teach Our Kids to Give – SWAG: Students Who Are Giving
“And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.” Hebrews 13:16
At Advent, teaching our students the importance of giving and service is central to our mission to inspire minds, grow hearts, strengthen bodies, and nurture souls. By encouraging acts of generosity, we help children understand that there is something greater than themselves and that their unique gifts can make a difference in the world. Through our SWAG (Students Who Are Giving) program, students give weekly, contributing to causes such as Boca Helping Hands, Family Promise, Freedom Challenge, and Food for the Poor. These chapel donations not only teach the value of consistent giving but also inspire students to use their passions to bless others locally and globally.
Thank you to our parents for supporting these impactful initiatives.
