We are a Christian school, established in 1968, welcoming a diverse student body from all faith backgrounds. As Christian educators, we believe there should be harmony between what is taught in the home, in our churches, and in our school, so we strive to honor the Lord Jesus in all that we do. We welcome students from 6 weeks old to 4 years old in our preschool/Early Childhood School, and students from Kindergarten to 8th grade in our Elementary and Middle School. At all ages and stages, we are united with a common purpose – to prepare students for their next adventure!
Advent is an accredited, private Christian school that for 50 years has been supporting Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Deerfield, Lighthouse Point, Pompano, Boynton Beach and other surrounding communities.

Character
At Advent School, faith and character are nurtured from preschool through 8th grade. Early Childhood students experience Bible stories, songs, prayers, and chapel, while Elementary and Middle School students continue growing through scripture, prayer, meaningful traditions, and the SWAG program—learning to live with kindness, integrity, and a heart for service.
Enrichment
At Advent School, our enrichment program inspires creativity, curiosity, and confidence. Our students explore programs like Emergent Reader, Techie Kids, Soccer Shots, and Amazing Athletes. As they grow, students enjoy daily specials such as Spanish, Music, Drama, Technology, and more—building skills for success in school and life.
These Enrichment offerings go far beyond “extras”—they cultivate well-rounded, confident, and creative learners. From Early Childhood’s foundational reading, movement, and STEAM experiences to Elementary & Middle School’s arts, languages, and high-tech exploration, Advent School ensures every student can discover and develop their passions through a Christ-centered, enriching education.
Security & Child Safety Is Our #1 Concern
Children cannot learn in an environment where they do not feel safe. Advent has a long history of providing a secure environment that meets or exceeds typical school standards. Over the years, we have worked closely with the Boca Police Department and other governmental agencies to ensure that our procedures and actions are the very best. At the same time, we have worked hard to keep security measures unobtrusive to our students so they have a feeling of comfort while at school.
Advent has implemented the additional measure of armed security from Cambridge Security. Cambridge Security Services is an American-owned, private security company that provides security services to clients nationwide.
There are many facets to student security including: food allergies, volunteer screening, medication management, secure carline procedures, campus communication, emergency drills and crisis planning. We welcome parent involvement in security task force meetings.

Advent has its roots in the Lutheran tradition which emphasizes the power of God’s grace to change our lives. We have several different ministries to serve all of God’s people across all generations in different ways.
